About CareOrchestrator

CareOrchestrator is designed to support various healthcare stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and administrators, and integrates with multiple clinical systems and devices to streamline care delivery and support coordinated care. It offers features like real-time data visualization, predictive analytics, and workflows that support clinical and operational decision-making.

My Impact

01 Designed and implemented 3+ B2B features for Philips's cloud-based SaaS product, which helped streamline the process of managing patient information and provided clients with greater flexibility and control over their data, resulting in a 40% increase in work efficiency for over 1.6 million clients.

02 Created UX/UI design patterns for the product, following the company's established design language to ensure consistent visuals and efficient design handoff. Utilized typography, color, and information architecture to create a cohesive and effective user experience across the product.

Key B2B Features

01 Customizable Dashboards

This feature allows users to customize their dashboard by selecting the specific patient data they want to see, such as medication history, vital signs, or test results. This can help users to quickly access the patient information they need and make informed decisions. Additionally, this feature can help users to focus on the specific patient data that is relevant to their role, which can help improve efficiency.

02 Integration

This feature allows users to integrate the SaaS product with other software systems that are used in healthcare settings, such as Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or billing systems. This can help users to streamline their workflow by reducing the need to switch between different systems to access patient information. Additionally, this feature can help ensure that patient information is up-to-date and accurate across different systems, which can help improve patient care.

03 Workflow Automation

This feature allows users to automate repetitive tasks, such as scheduling appointments, sending reminders, or generating reports. This can help users to save time and reduce errors by automating tasks that are prone to human error. Additionally, this feature can help users to focus on higher-level tasks, such as analyzing patient data or developing treatment plans, which can help improve efficiency and patient care.

My Learning

01 The healthcare industry is heavily regulated, and a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape is crucial. Learning about compliance standards, privacy laws, and data security measures become essential to ensure the project aligns with industry regulations.

02 Visual aids are invaluable when collaborating with cross-functional partners, as they facilitate the communication of initial ideas. By sharing low-fidelity explorations and visual references, I was able to effectively convey the feasibility and timeline of the project to engineers, product managers, and UX researchers.

03 It is crucial for UX designers to approach learning with curiosity, resourcefulness, and persistence. Equally important is the willingness to unlearn prejudices, overcome the fear of uncertainty, and challenge incomplete conceptions of the world.

04 It is important to adopt a user-centered design approach to understand their needs, pain points, and motivations truly. Learning to conduct user research and user testing, and incorporating user feedback becomes crucial in creating effective and usable solutions.
